The castle at Puebla de Almenara (Castillo de Puebla de Almenara) is located in Cuenca province in Castilla La Mancha, Spain, approximately 100km southeast of Madrid. It dates to the 14th centruy and although in ruins, several parts still remain.
The Monastery of Ucles in Cuenca province, Castilla La Mancha is nicknamed El Escorial de La Mancha. It was the headquarters for the Order of Santiago in medieval times.
